Story

We are taking on this trek to raise funds for the charity Helen is working with currently - which provides professional mental health support to all those 18+ who need it - via walks & retreats with qualified coaches & counsellors, & time out in nature with likeminded people. The impact of these events is profound; and is changing & saving lives - at a time when the mental ill health epidemic in the UK is worse than it has ever been. Depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, overwhelm, stress & more - none of our lives go untouched by these things nowadays.

On the 25th May our group will take on this epic Peak District walk, covering 22 miles of moorland above the Reservoirs made famous by the Dambusters. Taking in some of the more well known Peak District summits such as Win Hill, Alport Castles, Back Tor and Lost Lad. The walk has a lovely mixture of scenery, taking us through woodland, over moorland, across streams and along the reservoirs.
