Wrexham Maelor's Critical Care Team are raising £50,000 to create a new patient sensory garden to provide some relief from the clinical environments.

Story

Awyr Las is the North Wales NHS Charity and supports staff, patients and their families across the whole of North Wales and beyond.

I'm supporting them and the Critical Care Team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital to help raise money for their new sensory garden!

Our wonderful son and brother is coming home to us today after spending 52 days in hospital. 19 days in intensive care and 8 days on a ventilator. We almost lost him and would like to thank the amazing critical care team for helping him and us through it!! It’s been a long hard journey but now we have light at the end of a dark tunnel.

Joshua was reunited with our family dogs two weeks ago outside the main hospital entrance, it would be lovely for other future patients to reunite and spend rehabilitation time in a special sensory garden. This team is amazing please help in anyway you can xx
