Friends, family and colleagues. This will be my ABSOLUTE last marathon. I promise! I will be running for the Roald Dahl nurses who through the wonderful NHS provide specialist support for children living with complex medical conditions.

Like our son Peter, there are 1000's of children currently experiencing seizures, complex gastronomy care and other life-limiting conditions.

I am going to give this Marathon everything I have got. As it's my last, I will run it in fancy dress as the BFG. I am bound to cry all the way, but most importantly I plan to raise as much money as possible to fund the work of these fabulous nurses. I know from first hand experience what an incredible difference they make to families across the UK.

These nurses are marvellous and they need our support.
