Well I’ve just had a very exciting but scary phonecall from Cancer Research Wales who have told me I’ve made it on their team for London Marathon 2024 😳🫣

I must be mad right!? 😂🫣🏃‍♀️

Some people will know I’ve recently started running (I’m not a runner 😂) but I knew I wanted to step out of my comfort zone.. WAY OUT! This is a huge deal for me! I love watching the London Marathon and say every year how much I’d love to achieve something so huge and now here we are.

Please support me in any way you can whether it’s big or small - every little helps! I’ll need all the support and encouragement I can get along the way ❤️

I honestly never expected to get a place when I put my application in a couple of weeks ago as I know how difficult it is to get accepted, so to say I was shocked but thrilled was an understatement.

Like most cancer unfortunately has been a part of many families including mine. I’ll be running in memory of everyone we have lost and I’m hoping I’ll make them, and everyone else proud! 🥹

Having signed up to a few races for 2024 I am keeping my page open to fundraise for Cancer Research Wales ❤️
