Story
This October, I am taking part in the Walk 100 Miles challenge for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I will be raising money for Breast Cancer Now, the research and support charity. As many of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2023 and I spent 12 months undergoing surgeries, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Walking 100 miles in a month will be quite a challenge for me due to the side effects of ongoing medications to prevent reoccurrence, but I'm determined to do this to support a charity that supported me.
Breast Cancer Now stands by those affected, offering unwavering support and hope for the future - I really valued the support I received both during treatment and afterwards giving me confidence and guidance to move forward and start living my life again whilst adjusting to a new normal.
One woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 10 minutes in the UK - instantly changing their life forever. Your contribution, whether it's £5 or £50, will make a meaningful impact allowing Breast Cancer Now to continue to support those dealing with this horrid disease. Every little bit helps, and I am truly grateful for your support. Together, let's make a difference and bring hope to others fighting this battle.
