Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. I've been making these very cute and colourful upcycled cockerel/chicken lavender bags to raise money to support UNICEF’s vital work for children in Palestine. They are 3 for a £10 donation including postage. Alternatively, if you'd just like to donate, any amount would be great. If you'd like Cockerels/chickens, once you've donated please let me have your details (use hemellor43@gmail.com and put UNICEF fundraiser in the subject) so that I can send them to you or if local I can take them to the Community shop for pick up.
More than a million children in the Gaza Strip are caught in a devastating situation marked by widespread destruction, relentless attacks, displacement, and severe shortages of essential necessities such as food, water, and medicine.
Over 30,000 people have been killed in Gaza, 70% of whom are women and children.
Over 1.7 million people, half of them children, have been forced to leave their homes including 629,000 people staying in 150 UNRWA- designated emergency shelters. The Gaza Strip is running out of water, electricity, food and medicine.
The first UN supplies of water, food and medicine have entered Gaza, but to save children's lives, much more is needed.
Your donation will help UNICEF work with the UNRWA on the ground in Palestine to get help to where it is needed.
