In 2023 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, something you just don't think will happen to you or anyone else you love but it does, in the Same year my cousin was also diagnosed with breast cancer we both had to have chemotherapy/ radiotherapy which in itself is hard work but we are fighters and we are pulling through it all with medication for next 5 years too.

Then 2024 my best friend was diagnosed too , she needed radiotherapy, and she fought through it too. I'm so glad she didn't need chemotherapy I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Good news through it all , I had my first mammogram last year with an all clear fantastic news, and I'm due my second one in May this year 2025.

I'm holding afternoon tea to help raise funds for Breast cancer now as with any charity they do a fabulous job, and need support from everyone. I know money is tight for us all , and any small amount you can contribute will all help, I never thought I would need a charity like breast cancer now but I am extremely grateful for all the fantastic treatment I received and wish everyone on this journey speedy recoveries.
