I’m taking on the Samaritans Walk 50 miles with your dog in November and some of you will know just how much of a challenge this will be for us.

Buddy, unfortunately, needed a foreleg amputation in July and is now on chemotherapy. He’s doing well at present but our walks take longer and are more tiring for him now. As you can probably imagine, at the time this hit very hard. Fortunately, I am lucky to have such an amazing support system around me, my family, friends and work colleagues were amazing and so understanding.

However, others are not so lucky and that’s why I wanted to get involved. I know how important the work of The Samaritans is!
