It’s taken me some time to come to terms with losing mum, however I’m finally ready to help raise money and awareness for a great cause - Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland. We,ll be giving back to the community in the Isle of Skye by planting trees with the Forestry Commission & beach cleaning with the support of Skye Beach Cleaners. We,ll be hiking 20k along the circular walk to the Fairy Pools and we,ll also be climbing the Cuillins Ridge (Munro) with Skye Guides who will be supplying us with ropes, harnesses and hard hats 😳🧗‍♀️🙈 Skye is a special place as Mum’s final journey was up to Skye and back thanks to our undertaker family friend in Skye who arranged her funeral & done mum proud during difficult times in lockdown! Mum’s funeral was a rainbow of colours just as she wanted, we gave her the best send off possible and I’m hoping to see some rainbows in Skye 🌈 I’m very fortunate the company I work for will triple match any donations so any £1 raised will be triple matched to £4 !
