Story
On 2nd March, I am joining thousands of others around the world to walk] in solidarity with Palestinians at the same time the annual Palestine Marathon was due to take place.
My partner Julian and I are walking 25 miles around East Devon where we live - because 25 miles is the length of the Gaza Strip.
In Gaza, nowhere is safe. Over 1% of the population have been killed, 70% of these are women and children, over 50,000 injured and 1.9 million people have been displaced. It is a humanitarian disaster where people are facing starvation and the rapid spread of disease.
Meanwhile in the West Bank, home demolitions, illegal settlements, land confiscations, the illegal Separation Wall are daily realities for Palestinians living there. 'The Wall' refers to the illegal Separation Wall (750km long) that cuts deep into the West Bank.
Please help Amos Trust raise £60,000 - the £30,000 they need to rebuild a Palestinian home on the West Bank that was destroyed by the Israeli Authorities and £30,000 for emergency relief in Gaza.
