Story
At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are leaders in compassionate end of life care; our work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.
Last year we supported more than 1,500 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
As most of you know my dad sadly passed away on 23rd feb 2012 after a short battle with lung cancer, Myton were very precious to us all in the last few days of my dads life and made him comfortable so he could pass peacefully.
This year my dad would have turned 80 years old and to celebrate his life myself and Darryl have decided to walk snowdon at sunrise in his honour and keep giving back to Myton.
