Mental Elf is a 5km family fun run suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether you walk, jog, skip or run the 5km, its all about having lots of festive fun whilst raising funds so we can support the people in Birmingham and the wider communities.

Story

We are taking part in Birmingham Mind's first ever Mental Elf event on Sunday 3rd December at Cannon Hill Park.

This is a unique event which focuses on bringing people together, not only to fundraise, but to raise awareness for mental health and wellbeing. It promotes the benefits of physical activity, connecting with people and doing something to help others.

We all know the festive season can be an extra difficult time for some people. During the Christmas week last year Birmingham Mind received contact from 356 people to their 24/7 mental health helpline.

All funds raised during Mental Elf will stay here in Birmingham to help support the services they offer to help support the people who are struggling with their mental health. Services such as their 24/7

mental health helpline and their Wellbeing Hub at The Bullring & Grand Central.

Together we can ensure no one has to face their mental health struggles alone.
