Story
In an emergency, every second counts.
I am Hein and I'm originally from Burma, currently living in the UK. As you might see on the news recently, there was an earthquake that is so strong that currently left over 3000 people dead and many more injured. Furthermore, homes and building have been demolished leaving more people in poverty. I am doing the 10K challenge to raise money for my home country so any amount would be fantastic.
To help fund this response, I'm taking part in Race to Respond, a sponsored 10K challenge raising money for the British Red Cross, and I'd appreciate your support.
In an emergency, even small amounts can make a huge difference.
£2 could provide a family with jerry cans, so they can store clean water for drinking and cooking.
£60 could provide enough toiletries to support five people’s hygiene and dignity for one month.
£170 could provide a family of five with a food parcel that contains a month’s worth of meals.
Thank you
