Story

Who does not know about my love for sea swimming? It won’t come as a surprise to you that I want to take part in a Chanel Relay for Swim Tayka in June 2025! Thank you for your kind donations 🥰

Swimming has always been important to me it even more so since Dec 22 when I had my car accident and lost my right leg above the knee.

Swimming means freedom. Swimming in the sea is so special to me and brings me tons of joy. Friends of my set up the sea sisters during the pandemic and we enjoy the sea together several times a week.

Drowning is a silent epidemic that claims an estimated 360,000 lives every year, many of them children.

Drowning is the 3rd leading cause of unintentional injury death worldwide. These are wasted lives and preventable deaths. SwimTayka's mission is to give disadvantaged communities around the world access to swimming teachers who can not only provide the life skills of swimming but create a legacy for today's children, who will grow up to teach the next generation.
