Story

Join us on our journey to support North-East cancer patients by being part of our 2024 Great North Run!

Every step you take, every donation you make, will bring comfort to cancer patients in need. Your generosity fuels our services, and ensures patients reach their treatment safely and with dignity.

In 2017 Tom was diagnosed with Melanoma, Part of his treatment was 6 weeks of radiotherapy, which meant daily visits to the Freeman Hospital for 42 days in a row. Anneka his wife had Harry (age 2) and George (Newborn) so the help of Daft as a Brush was invaluable.

2024 will mark 5 years since Tom passed away so what better way to remember him than by raising money for the charity that made a horrible and worrying time a little bit easier.
