Heathfield Knoll's fundraiser for Comic Relief

On Friday the 21st, we are going to celebrate Comic Relief by having a non-uniform day for all pupils.
In addition, on Comic Relief Day, a tuck shop will be available for pupils. This tuck shop will be selling a variety of red-themed treats and will be open at morning break, in Sebright. All tuck will cost 50p or £1. Please send your child to school with some money (in a named purse) to buy one of our treats and raise money for this very worthwhile charity.
We will also be having a whole school assembly and will be giving your child the opportunity to join in with a House tug-of-war at lunchtime.
We have a few house competitions coming up as well. There is going to be a red nose design competition where your child can design their own red nose, running from Friday 7 March to Monday 17 March; a best joke competition running from Monday 17 March to Thursday 20 March; and a best-decorated Red Nose Day biscuit competition. All biscuits will be sold for 50p each at afternoon break on Red Nose Day, so must be accompanied by a written list of ingredients.
In addition to these fun activities, some of our staff are going to do a 24hr ‘Sport..athon’ from 4 pm on Thursday 20th March until 4 pm on Friday 21st March. The pupils will be involved during school hours on both days but from 5pm to 8am at least one member of our staff body will keep moving at all times. The staff will be running/walking/cycling and rowing on HKS fitness equipment in the sports hall and even using the school site for a night time walk/run and cycle. So please feel free to add a few pounds to your just giving donations if you would like to support them!
Comic Relief supports incredible projects and organisations that are making a difference for people across the UK and around the world.
Any donation you can make will make a difference. It could help provide shelter for those that need it, put food on plates, fill the shelves of baby banks, offer someone to talk to, or somewhere to be safe. It will go towards organisations supporting those facing poverty and injustice here in the UK and around the world.
