Instead of presents this year, I've had a chat with James and we would really appreciate if you could donate the amount you would spend on a present to Borders Woman Aid.

BWA offers safe accommodation, confidential, practical and emotional support, and information to women and their children who wish to escape domestic abuse.

This money will help families who have to start again, and help rebuild their life. Often families end up in refuge with only a small amount of possessions and James agrees it would be nice to help raise some money so it can be spent on things people need and support for families. Just a small donations will help and completely up to you if you wish to donate or not.

(James will still get presents from family and so he won't be going without).
