Heads On Run Club takes on BM10k and Brighton Marathon
Heads On Run Club are taking on the BM10K and Brighton Marathon on April 6th. For most, taking part will be the first time they have ever run this far. They are doing this to raise vital funds for the run club so it can grow and help more people. Lots of research shows that physical activity can have a significant positive impact on someone's mental health. Running being one of the best types of physical activity for this. The run club also provides a great opportunity to increase social contact and interaction, also very important in improving mental health. Heads On Run Club takes place in Worthing, Crawley and Horsham each week.
Heads On Charity
Anyone can experience a mental health problem. One in four of us every year.
At Heads On we do everything we can to make things better for the people who come to Sussex Partnership for help, by providing funding for special projects, patient and family support, pioneering research and the transformation of your local mental health hospitals into more comfortable and welcoming environments.
Thanks to the generosity of our fundraisers, Heads On can help to provide the best possible support to people with mental health problems across Sussex and beyond.
