The Great North Run is coming!
Myself, Cat, Beth and Liam are (attempting) to run the Great North Run on 10th September to raise money for The Anthony Nolan Charity. Last May, my brother Jack was diagnosed with Leukaemia and passed away only three days after being diagnosed, only 10 weeks after he got married. It’s been an incredibly tough time for my family and I but it doesn’t always have to end so tragically for those diagnosed with blood cancer. Anthony Nolan provides lifesaving connections between patients and those incredible strangers ready to donate their stem cells and help to save lives.
Jack ‘ran’ the GNR in his full hockey goal keeping kit so we’ve got no excuse not to run the 13 miles, to raise money for an incredible cause, in his name. I’m sure he’s laughing at the thought and he’ll be there to get us all over that finish line.
Any donations would be so greatly appreciated, to help push us through the pain!!
