In the spirit of "one for all and all for one", our community summer open air tour The Three Musketeers will be supporting 8 deserving, local charities.

For those attending Cobtree Manor Park - Tue, 20 Aug 24 16:00 we will be collecting for local charity Crossroads Kent - Young Carers. Crossroads Care Kent is the leading Carers charity in Kent. A young carer is defined as someone aged 18 or under who cares for a family member who, due to illness, disability, mental health problems or an addiction requires support. Crossroads young carers aim to empower young carers to thrive by making a long-term commitment to provide essential support, respite from their caring responsibilities, fostering resilience, advocating for young people's well-being, encourage young carers to achieve their full potential and flourish in life. Crossroads young carers offer support to young carers through club nights, activity days and one to one crisis support. The young carer groups cater for children aged between 5 and 17 years old. The groups provide the young carer respite from their caring role and time to care for their own well-being. The sessions also provide the young carers a chance to mix with other young carers in a non-judgemental environment, gain first aid qualifications, develop cooking skills through healthy eating activities, participate in sports and craft activities and build their resilience.

There will be bucket collections and opportunities to speak to the charity on the day. Donations will allow us to continue our support for young carers, providing resources for the young people to use at club nights and help towards the funding of activity days.
