The Hazlitt Theatre is delighted to be supporting Slide Away, who are local Kent based charity that provides bereavement support to children and young people up to the age of 18, their families and those who care for them.

They are offer workshops for those bereaved of a parent or sibling, and Memory Days for those bereaved of another family member or friend. They also offer support to children and young people who have a parent or sibling with a life limiting illness.

As part of their bereavement support they also work with parents and carers, schools and other professionals to help them support bereaved children in their care. Click here to find out more.

This seems especially fitting as our own character of Cinderella lost her mother at a young age and with her strength of spirit and the support of those who care for her, despite all odds, goes on to be an inspirational icon of kindness, resilience and has become a legendary hero for the ages!
