Story

Hazel’s fundraising!

This year Hazel has been under the care of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital where she had three fairly big operations. Hazel is therefore taking part in a 2KM walk to raise money for the charity.

The walk marks almost a year from Hazels first unplanned hospital admission. It feels a really positive way to mark the end of this year for Hazel, and hopefully in the nicest possible way we never see the fishies in the tank at RMCH again!

Hazel will be doing the walk with her little bestie and side kick Evie (and of course us!). We would be very grateful for any donations. The charity supports three key areas: treatment, research and care. These can include the purchase of specialist equipment to diagnose and provide treatment of young patients more quickly and easily, creating as child-friendly an environment as possible and funding pioneering medical research to increase our understanding of children’s illnesses and the optimum way to treat them.
