Story

Mental health is a subject very close to my heart. Not least because I’ve battled poor mental health a number of times in my life, but also because it affects so many of us. I’ve been lucky enough to access therapy funded by Mind which has been fantastic for me.

However, not everyone has the luxury and therefore I hope by raising some money can help a few more lives beat poor mental health.

In May I'll be lacing up my trainers and taking on my first ever Half marathon - a challenge of running the Hackney Half to support the work of Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest (Mind CHWF).

Each year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem, and this figure is only set to rise. That's why I've decided to support Mind in the City and Hackney, who offer a range of support to members of the community who are struggling with their mental health.

Just £25 could pay for a low-income client with serious enduring mental health issues to attend a Managing Anger and Difficult Emotions group.

Grateful for any donations! Thank you sooo much! X🙏🏼
