Story
After my superhero nephew Jackson spent some time in Evelina I knew I had to try & give something back to them for all their amazing work!
Evelina were absolutely amazing medicating his extremely rare condition of HLH, the consultants were thorough and determined to get Jackson better.
They had a teacher visiting Jackson 1-1 when he was feeling better as he could not mix with others. In his time there he also saw a music therapist, play therapist, psychiatrist, physiotherapy all to aid his physical and mental health.
At Easter they gave all the children an Easter egg to wake up to, then they had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny! A cinema room is also available for the children to watch films.
They really do think about the children’s mental health and well being as well as the physical side.
More than 103,000 children and young people experience the wonderful warmth of Evelina London, which is part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. They see first-hand the care and passion of the Evelina London team who are exploring new approaches and creating ground-breaking care for children and young people.
Anything you can donate towards this amazing cause would be really appreciated!
To give you an idea of the impact of your donation:
£20 could help put a child's mind at ease with imaginative toys, books and games that explain what happens in hospital.
£50 could help the team put together amazing rucksacks full of distraction toys for every ward and department.
£100 could give every child the chance to escape into their favourite film, by buying more DVD players with headphones.
Thank you so much for your support! 🧡⭐️
