I want to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, to allow vital research into not only Breast Cancer but also Secondary Breast Cancer.

Whilst i haven’t been impacted directly Breast Cancer, I do have friends that have. Which is why I want to do what I can to raise awareness and raise money throughout 2024.

Challenge 1: Running a 5.79km looped course on January 2024. The aim is to complete 4 loops (23.16km), but the added extra is that I will be dressed as a flamingo. The amount of laps I run dressed up as a flamingo, will depend on donations received: £675 was raised for this event.

Then I created a podcast “The Angry Boob series” which speaks to people with lived experience of Breast Cancer. The podcast is an ongoing library for people to go back to, to listen and to learn from other people’s experiences.

Now, the big event this year, Cardiff Half Marathon! October 6th, I will be running the streets of Cardiff, donning a breast Cancer Now vest and giving it my all to raise as much as I can for this amazing charity!
