Story
As some of you know Michael seriously hurt his arm in November, SCAS and their amazing crews where first of site and gave fantastic care to Michael. Without their initial care his outcome could have been very different.
In my madness (between placement, work and studying), I want to try and thank them for their service. So I have decided to do their challenge of out running an ambulance over the next 3 months. As we are Newbury and I believe the first crew on site was Newbury based, I aim to outrun the average amount of miles they cover in a day. So I will need to cover 201 miles, this will be a mixture or running and walking depending on injuries ;).
Any support would be fantastic, as I am sure a number of us have all been thankful to for their service at some point.
With your help South Ambulance Service Charity are able to provide additional support to our ambulance crews and volunteers, fund innovative new projects and work alongside our operational teams to really enhance the patient care South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) is able to provide.
