In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the 26 mile Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

Me and a group of my equally crazy friends have signed up to walk this together. Last year we lost a very special colleague and friend Teresa Waterfield suddenly to this relentless disease, and in previous years it has taken the lives, or has affected the lives, of too many friends, colleagues and special loved ones. As you are aware I have personal experience of the devasting impact a diagnosis can have, and have experienced the care of some very special people.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
