Story
In 2019 my world changed when Daisy-May was rushed to Evelina, London and diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease due to Kidney Dysplasia and had less than 5% function of her kidneys. After 14 months of dialysis and endless hurdles in December 2020 Daisy-May received her Kidney Transplant that I was so grateful to be able to donate to her.
Every day has its challenge and sadly her transplant isn't a 'cure', but with the support, care, dedication and knowledge of the Evelina Team our journey has been somewhat comforting.
I have chosen to run the London Marathon in April 2024 to support the incredible Evelina Hospital. Daisy-May continues to battle with her condition, and I wish for nothing more than to contribute to children in Daisy-May's position and support them on their journey.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your generous donations, as the incredible support Evelina provides Daisy-May and our family is invaluable.
