Story

I had no desire to run a Marathon ever, however I did sign up to run a 1/2 marathon in April 2023 after seeing my husband Mike and good friend running the London marathon October 2022. The atmosphere at both events was amazing & I thought now I’m in my 50th year this could be the only chance I get to do one so I signed up!! I told Mike of my plans & he said ‘well I’d better run with you then’ after him vowing not to run another marathon again! 😂

LOROS is a place extremely close to my heart after my longtime partner Steve was cared for there by the amazing team & sadly passed away in LOROS in October 2014. So, I ask if you could please dig deep and support LOROS as I take on the prestigious London Marathon event in 2024. LOROS cares for more than 2,500 patients and their families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland each year. Your help makes all the difference. Thank you all so much for any support you can offer. Hxx😘
