Story

On Saturday 6th of July, I will be joining other supporters of BTG who will either Cycle, Run, or Swim the epic 743 miles that cover the journey from London Wembley Stadium to the Olympiastadion Stadium in Berlin, hosts of the Euros 2024.

Bridge the Gap is a footballing community that commits to building relationships, developing leaders, and transforming lives. Their communities are a place where players can come into a welcoming environment and find meaningful relationships, where they feel they can open up about life hardships and their mental well-being. With suicide being the most significant cause of death for men under 45 and 1 in 4 adults experiencing a mental health problem, research shows that they tend not to talk about their feelings but are more willing to open up when part of a trusted sports community.

All the money raised will help them build and grow even more communities across the UK!
