Story
Hi. On the 2nd of July I will be taking part in the 100km bike ride in the Forest of Bowland AONB to raise funds for Angel welfare who are working in the deserts of East Africa. I visited the area earlier in the year and have witnessed first-hand the struggles they are facing.
Please dig deep and give whatever you can, every little helps. Thanks
AWET aims and objectives include the tackling of poverty, disease and hunger in East Africa.
Every 36 seconds one person is dying of hunger in drought-stricken East Africa. Over 22 million people in the region are at risk of starvation.
Wells are dry, millions of livestock are dead and peoples livelihoods have vanished. Millions have had to leave their homes in search of food and water
An Angel Welfare & Eduction Trust delegation visited some of the drought stricken areas only last month and saw the desperate state of the people. The funds raised shall be utilised on the ground to provide water and food aid.
Ensuring a 100% donation policy. Every pound donated and every pound of Gift Aid received is spent on making a difference to the lives of the people in Africa.
Through the grace of the Almighty, your duas and donations Angel Welfare & Education Trust are on the ground supporting such families by providing food parcels and water.
