There are 1.5 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society. For the UK's care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it's all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits.

Walkies for Care is a community-driven fundraising event dedicated to supporting The Care Workers’ Charity’s mission to promote and support the well-being of current care professionals, recognising the invaluable work they do in providing care and support to some of the most at-risk members of society.
