Support Hartley's Fundraiser for Toucan for Children!

Triathlon · 20 April 2024
Hello everyone!
I'm Hartley, an energetic 11-year-old, and I'm embarking on an exciting challenge to raise funds for Toucan for Children, a vital play therapy centre in Mitcheldean, Forest of Dean.
On Saturday 20th April, I'll be pushing myself to the limit with a series of physical feats, all in the name of supporting the incredible work of Toucan for Children. Here's what I have planned:
Cycle, Swim, Walk, Kick!
First, I'll hop on my bike and cycle 2.8 miles to kick off the challenge. Then, it's straight into the pool where I'll swim 20 lengths, testing my endurance in the water. But I'm not stopping there! After drying off, I'll walk 2 miles up to the Kymin, facing the uphill climb with determination.
Once I reach the Kymin, I'll showcase my football skills by doing 22 kickie uppies. It's not going to be easy, but I'm ready for the challenge! Then, I'll kick my football 2.9 miles down to Redbrook, heading to the green where I'll attempt to score 22 goals, one after the other, aiming for nothing but net! All the twos for Toucan!
Why am I doing this?
I'm passionate about supporting Toucan for Children because I believe every child deserves access to the support and therapy they need to thrive. Toucan provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can express themselves and work through challenges with the help of play therapy.
Toucan has done so much for me and I really want other children and families to know about all that they offer.
How You Can Help
Your support means the world to me and to the children who benefit from Toucan for Children's services. By donating to my fundraiser, you'll be making a direct impact on the lives of children in our community, helping them to build resilience, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
No donation is too small, and every penny counts. Together, let's make a difference!
