Story

Hi, we are organising a fundraising day to raise money for James Cook Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where Harry-James and Grace-Victoria Vayro were born and cared for, the Vayro twins arrived on 2/05/2024 very early at only 27 weeks with Harry weighing 1.12kg & Grace 995g and were severely unwell.

Unfortunately Grace was not strong enough to fight any longer and sadly passed away at only 8 hours old despite the amazing efforts from all the doctors and nurses. Harry has now spent over 10 weeks on the unit and has had a very tough journey but is starting to come out of the other side now and we should have him home in the next month or so, the care and support we have received from James Cook has been outstanding and we can never ever repay them for what they have done for us, saving our little boys life and fighting so hard to try and save Grace, but we would like to thank them by raising money for the unit.

There is a fire-walk taking place where people will collect sponsors to walk over hot coals. Any donations no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.
