Story

Hi All, I am excited to announce that I am running the London Marathon 2024 for Epilepsy Action. Epilepsy Action is a charity very close to my heart as I myself have Epilepsy as do my Mother and Grandmother. Thankfully we all have controlled forms, however, we greatly appreciate how for some individuals this isn't the case and either having difficulties gaining control of their symptoms or not having family members (like we do) who can relate and help come to terms accepting diagnosis must be hugely difficult hence the importance of Epilepsy Action as an organisation.

Epilepsy Action is the UK’s biggest community of people who want a better future for people affected by epilepsy.

The charity offers free vital services such as their Freephone helpline, website, local Talk and Support groups around the UK, e-learning courses, and their Befriending service. The charity’s freephone helpline is a vital service, with trained advisors who provide much-needed advice and support.

I'm fundraising to help make a difference so that Epilepsy Action can continue to provide these services when people need it most.

Any donations no matter how small will be greatly appreciated and make a vital difference for those in need.

Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.
