Story

Firstly, thank you for clicking on my page to donate.

On 6th April 2025 I will be running the Brighton marathon (hopefully in sub 4 hours!). I am running the marathon to raise funds for Dementia UK.

My Grandpa, Tim, who passed away last year, sadly suffered from dementia for the last few years of his life.

He was my hero and I can’t think of anyone I would rather run this marathon in memory of.

Although he was still his happy, fun-loving self to the end, the disease gave our family some huge challenges.

Dementia UK are a service providing support for families caring for people with dementia. As someone with first hand experience in how tough this can be, I can’t tell you how important advice and support is in this situation!

Please donate generously to a great cause as no family should have to face this horrible disease alone
