This year Brockwell Swimmers will again be raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute with three relay teams attempting to cross the Channel as well as a relay at the Lido in August.

We have booked the Connemara, skippered by Kevin Sherman, for the neap tide Tuesday 16th July. This is a prime slot to swim but if the weather does misbehave the swim may be delayed until later in the year. The twenty and half mile crossing will be swum one hour at a time by each member; e.g. one hour swim then 3 hours rest. Last year’s successful swim took just over 14 hours.
