Fundraising for Hospiscare
This is for my Dad, this is for Hospiscare, this is for me.
My Father was an amazing man who raised thousands of pounds for charity and especially Hospiscare - a charity close to his heart! I am now going to follow in his footsteps and hopefully raise a considerable amount for Hospiscare by running the London marathon in his honour.
My Dad died on 23 April 2016 after his brave battle with cancer. I miss him daily but I know he will be with me on the 27 April 2025 and will be the motivation I need to complete the epic run.
I started running after having my son, Huxley - I started with Couch to 5k and would run three times a week without fail - I have continued to do this ever since! Now I’m taking part in the infamous London Marathon - wish me luck!
On 27 April 2025, I’ll be taking part in the London Marathon, in aid of Hospiscare. This means training hard, putting my best foot forward and taking steps to make a difference. Quite literally.
Hospiscare is a local charity, caring for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their teams of doctors and nurses offer specialist palliative care, to ensure that patients can make the most of the time they have left.
Hospiscare are a vital part of the local healthcare system and I want to help ensure Hospiscare can continue to be there for the community now and in the future.
Please help make a difference by giving whatever you can. Thank you!
