Harding Financial - Raising Money for Mind in 2025

Hi, my name is Helen Monteith and I am a paraplanner here at Harding. Together with my colleague, Tanya, we are the charity representatives this year hoping to reach a target of £2,000 for the Charity, Mind.
Harding will increase the amount raised by £500 if we are able to hit this target!!
This charity was chosen by the staff as the chosen charity to support for 2025. It is a charity that is so close to many of us.
We have lots of things going on this year. I am personally collecting second hand clothes to sell on Vinted with all proceeds going to charity, the whole team have been busy clocking up 30 minutes of exercise and mindfulness in March to raise funds and we have just launched an event for our clients to attend during the afternoon of the 12th May, during Mental Health Week, for gentle yoga and relaxation with all profits going to Mind. There are other things planned too with details to follow...
If you are interested in supporting our event, please email me helen.monteith@hardingfinancial.co.uk. Tickets are £85 and you will not only help the charity but also have a relaxing afternoon in surrey hills. The photo above is the venue and the views are really amazing.
Alternatively, if you are happy to donate, this would be gratefully received. Money is tight these days and charities have really felt the squeeze. Any donation, large or small is massively appreciated.
Why did we choose Mind?
Mind is a crucial charity because it provides essential support and advocacy for individuals experiencing mental health problems. Their mission is to ensure that everyone facing mental health challenges receives the respect and help they need. Mind offers a range of services, including crisis helplines, counselling, and supported housing, and they campaign to improve mental health services and raise awareness.
In the UK, mental health issues are widespread. Approximately 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year. Additionally, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem, such as anxiety or depression, in any given week.
These statistics highlight the importance of organizations like Mind in providing support and advocating for better mental health care.
