Since returning from COP 27 in Egypt last month, I haven’t stopped thinking about some of the people and organizations we had the opportunity to meet.

People who have been doing incredible work in, amongst others, climate change, circular economy, disaster risk reduction, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy activism.

Most years we’ve enjoyed picking out gifts for everyone in our team but may we suggest, as in previous years, to introduce again to give generously to Oxfam "East Africa Crisis", so they can achieve their vision.

Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia are facing one of the worst droughts in history. South Sudan has suffered a fifth year of severe flooding. It's a major emergency, and widespread food shortages are being made worse by climate extremes, Covid-19, and conflict.

Oxfam works with their partners across the Horn of Africa to support people. But they need our help to do more.
