Story

I am running the London Marathon 2025 for CCLG (Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group). Every penny raised will help to research and help shape a better and brighter future for all young people affected by cancer.

Each week in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer and around 1 in 8 children do not survive. Every pound you donate for #TeamCCLG will help to fund information and research that enables quicker diagnosis and kinder more effective treatments, shaping a future where every child diagnosed with cancer survives to live happy, healthy and independent lives.

Working as a Paediatric Oncology Nurse I see the amazing work CCLG do, and the impact they have on children and their families. I have never ran a marathon, or taken part in any race so I know this will be a challenge. But this is nothing compared to the challenges these amazing, resilient children have to go through every single day with their battle with cancer.

Without funds, there is no research, and without research, there is no cure. So please help me raise as much money as I can for an amazing cause!
