On June 16th 2024 I'll be taking part in the London to Brighton bike ride to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

In early 2023, my granny was diagnosed with stage 5 cancer, and just a short while later, she left us.

After her passing I felt quite lost, I somehow ended up cycling and realised how much of an escape it was, as escape I needed. I never thought I'd do something like this, and to be honest I'd have called anyone considering this cycle crazy. But I'm here, a year later in the name of craziness to get this done.

So, as I embark on this journey, I do it with memories of my granny in my heart, knowing that every pedal stroke, every hill, every tumble is in memory of her.
