Story
Meningitis Now work tirelessly to ensure that nobody in the UK dies from meningitis and everybody affected gets the aftercare they deserve.
Meningitis is a devastating disease that can destroy lives and futures overnight. Families can suddenly be facing life without a loved one. Survivors can be left with lifelong disabilities and complex health issues.
Meningitis Now was founded in Gloucestershire in 1986 by a group of parents affected by meningitis. Since then, Meningitis Now has fought this disease relentlessly in the UK by funding research, raising awareness and providing support for people whose lives have been changed by meningitis.
During the final week before we break for October Half Term our swimmers at Turtle Tots Mid Cheshire will be taking part in a "spooky lesson" to raise funds and awareness for this amazing charity!
