Story
I am a registered nurse working in the clinical team at Lewis Manning Hospice and I am honoured to be taking part in the “jump for a nurse” skydive. I feel passionately about a service that gives so much to other people and I have seen first hand the amazing people this money will go on to support. My patients show me everyday how brave and courageous they are and I feel it’s only right I do something that pushes me out of my comfort zone.
Lewis-Manning Hospice is a charity delivering vital care to patient with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Dorset. We offer a range of important services, which are run by our clinical team and require as much support and funding as possible. These services include: Day hospice, hospice at home, bereavement and family support, breathlessness clinics , lymphoedema clinics, creative arts and wellbeing support, complementary therapy treatments and Occupational therapy support.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated to continue to provide this invaluable work. I will taking part in the 10,000ft skydive on 21st September 2024- all proceeds go directly to Lewis Manning Hospice Care. For more information please visit - https://lewis-manning.org.uk
