Support Barnsley Hospice from 15,000 ft! In honour of our 30th anniversary year, we have 30 spaces for hospice supporters to take on this once in a lifetime challenge in support of our patient care.

Story

Barnsley Hospice is a charity providing specialist palliative and end of life care to local people living with a life-limiting illness and those close to them. These conditions include cancer, heart and lung diseases and neurological diseases such as motor neurone disease and Parkinson’s disease.

This incredible charity holds a special place in my heart, as many of you may already know. In November 2021, my wife received a devastating advanced bowel cancer diagnosis. Since then, she has shown immense strength, undergoing major surgeries and enduring the grueling effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Throughout this challenging journey, Barnsley Hospice has been an unwavering pillar of support for all of us. Their invaluable care and assistance has made an immeasurable difference in our lives.

By participating in this skydive, I aim to raise vital funds that will ensure the hospice can continue their incredible work.

The hospice is not just a building – it is a way of caring for people. With their support, patients are able to benefit from the best possible care throughout their illness and at the end of their life.
