My beautiful friend tragically lost her battle with cancer in January 2023.

I am running my first (and last) marathon in memory of her and the wonderful person she was. I would love to raise some money for the Martlets who looked after her in her final days and supported her and her amazing family when they needed it most.

I am lucky to have had Michelle in my life. Always the life and soul, brightening up any room. I am thankful we were brought up like sisters, being her bridesmaid and just true best friends. I hope she will be proud of me doing this run, Michie this is for you xx

Martlets is a local charity providing essential care to people affected by terminal illness in Brighton and Hove, and surrounding areas. Our expert teams provide the very best care and support, helping patients and their loved ones to live life to the full during the precious time they have.

Martlets’ care is free thanks to the support of local people, businesses, and trusts. An NHS grant covers a portion of our costs, but we rely on the community to fund most of our vital services. From terminal cancer and end-stage heart disease to neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Motor Neurone Disease, we’re here to help.
