I am raising money for Magic Carpet, the charity that I work for. Those of your that know me, will be aware that its not been an easy ride and funding is extremely hard to get in the arts and charitable sector now more than ever. I have worked tirelessly to keep Magic Carpet sessions going because I believe in the importance of art, creativity, expression and community as powerful tools to improve people's lives and health. Access to the arts and creative expression should be a given and not something we have to fight for, especially for marginalised groups in our communities.

I am completely unprepared to run 10k this Sunday, so I would love to know that my doing it was raising some money to support Magic Carpet in a small way.

Donating £20 means we can buy one set of table raisers to ensure our participants who are wheelchair users can fit comfortably under tables.

Donating £10 would cover a weeks supply of tea and biscuits to provide at our regular groups at Exeter Phoenix or a set of acrylic paints used regularly in our groups.
