Story
I’m running the 2025 London Marathon—26.2 miles of sweat, grit, and (hopefully) no tripping—to raise money for the incredible work of the MS Society!
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that’s affected my family in a very real way. My dad was diagnosed with MS in 2015, and it turned our world upside down. We suddenly found ourselves in uncharted territory, and, trust me, there’s no map for navigating MS. But the MS Society was there from day one, giving us the information and support we didn’t even know we needed. They were our lifeline in some really tough times.
Years later, MS still affects my family in ways that are as unpredictable as they are challenging. But one constant has been the support from the MS Society. Thanks to ongoing research, we’re starting to understand more about this complicated disease, and new treatments are giving people with MS more options and hope.
The MS Society does so much—from funding vital research into the causes and treatments of MS to running a helpline where those affected can find guidance and a listening ear. They believe, and so do I, that together we’re strong enough to stop MS.
So here I am, putting my (possibly blistered) feet on the line for a cause that means everything to me. Every donation, big or small, will help the MS Society continue their life-changing work. If you can spare a few quid (or a lot of quid—I won’t argue), I’ll do my best to cross that finish line with pride and maybe even a smile.
Thank you for your support. Let’s show MS what we’re made of!
