Christmas Jumper Day this year is 8th December and I thought, 'why not take it one step further?'

So here is my Christmas Elf Marathon, where I pledge to dress as a Christmas Elf (hat, fluffy jumper, trousers and shoes) when in the office for every day in December.

There will be picture updates regularly on this page, I'm sure there'll be something in the company's internal comms and shortly coming to social media near you.

My charity I will be fundraising in aid of from now on is close to my heart, or rather, my nose:

FIFTH SENSE - Based in the UK, they support people affected by smell and taste disorders across the world and are the first charity providing direct support, advice and a signpost to potential diagnosis and treatment to people affected by such conditions.

For 11 years, I have been suffering from Anosmia, long story short, I can't smell or taste anything. I know there'll be a fair few of you thinking, so what?

Pros - Can't smell unpleasant things (rubbish, public toilets)/ unable to detect BO/ can sit next to a cake sale and not feel hungry etc. (I'm sure you can think of a few things).

Cons - Unable to smell a gas leak/ at higher risk of food poisoning/ invisible toxic fumes/ need to be registered on a Priority Services Register and the list goes on...
