Memory Walk 2024
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will feel it all and walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be providing help and hope to everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

Lambert Smith Hampton has chosen Alzheimer's Society as their Corporate Charity for 2024/25.

Together the Alzheimer's Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.

To aid in their cause, Hannah and Chris are partaking in this years company charity event - on 10th April 2025 in the Brecons in Wales with many other employees across LSH.

We face a challenge spanning a total of 27km across the Brecon Beacon National Park: The Brecon Adventure Triathlon (BAT) comprises of three phases, Hike, Bike and Canoe completing a linear route 27km in the Brecon Beacon National Park.

1. Starting with a 5 hour hike up Pen-y-Fanin Mountains, (famously known for SAS Training)

2. Followed by a 10 mile cycle to the Brecon Canal

3. finishing with a 1 hour Canoeing, and a final 30 minute walk to reach the finish line!

Any and all donations are very much welcomed and appreciated.
